I'm curious how ya'll get prizes for when you host. Without buying them yourselves that is. I'm hosting the next challenge so I posted a wall post on Scrap Matters facebook page asking if there would be a designer who would like to donate a prize for my next challenge. Welllll, they deleted my post with no explanation. After the problems they had this weekend with their website, I'm REALLY frustrated.

Anyway, how do you get prizes?

Hi Christina,

Just to be clear, it’s not a requirement to give away anything when you host. I think many people here just like doing it for fun. We know that a lot of thought goes into hosting, and we appreciate your time.

However, if you do want to give something away, you might try asking some designers individually if they would consider donating anything. I can post on our Facebook fansite and Twitter to see if anyone would be able to help.

It looks like no one is signed up to host the challenge that starts today. I will do it if no one else wants to. But it will have to Wait until tonight as I'm about to get on the road to drive home in a little while.
