Weekly Challenge #288 June 24-30

Hi Mousescrappers! I am hosting the weekly challenge this week and have a hunny of a participation prize from Mad for the Mouse Designs!

Rules:
1. Pooh likes to go on adventures, so be adventurous with one thing in your layout. Do something outside of your comfort zone. For me, it was using only one picture on a page – not usually my style.
2. Pooh’s stories are fun to read, so use a journal card on your page somewhere with at least 1 line of journaling.
3. Pooh has lots of friends, so leave love for your fellow participants in the gallery at the end of the challenge!

The fine print:
1) Challenge should be Disney related
2) Layout should be uploaded to the MouseScrappers Gallery in the Weekly Challenge category, and in the appropriate forum
3) No quick pages, but you can use templates

Here's mine! My outside the comfort zone is that I usually stick to the same kit/collection, and for this one, I went looking through my stash to find pieces that would work.

I usually don't use the blocked templates and used that as a stretch. I did use a journal card with my date, so to get a complete sentence, rather than just a line, I added my text in another block.

Thanks of hosting Sheryl and thanks for the fun journal cards too! For adventure I put some filters on some photos that were not as good of quality as I usually like to use and I used a journal card as a mat for one of my photos.

I scrapped an autograph into the layout which is not normal for me so that was a stretch for me.

Thank you for posting this challenge. This is the first challenge that I have entered so all of this is an adventure for me.

At first attempt I missed the requirement to use a journal card, so I went back and re-did my LO. I have an unedited version in the Challenges Gallery. If someone could let me know how to delete it, I would be very happy to remove it.

I'm looking forward to participating in many more challenges.

I am new to digital scrapbooking (and posting to this forum), so all of this is an adventure to me. I don't have a "style" yet.

I didn't use a "journal" card because I haven't purchased one yet. Still trying to decide what I need to buy. I did make the Mickey head that I did write on.
