I'm a newbie and I'm looking for tutorials and tips please
Hello!
I've spent countless hours admiring all of the posted layouts! So I purchased PSE11 a couple of years ago. I'm finally getting around to getting four disney world trips worth of photos sorted. I am overwhelmed by the amount of kits and designers out there. Would you all mind telling me what your favorite resources were when you were new to this? Would love to know where I might find some tutorials for Disney scrapbooking. Who are your favorite designers? Best to work with or without templates? Where do you find your disney clip art for parks/attractions? Thank you for helping this newbie out!! |

Hi! And welcome!!
I use the old Creative Memories software, so am no help with tips/tutorials for you. Sorry!! But maybe this will help. http://www.mousescrappers.com/forums...lay.php?f=9678 There haven't been many posts in that thread for a while, but the tutorials might still be valid. Here is a list of our site's sponsors; that might help you with a "jumping off point of designers" http://www.mousescrappers.com/forums/Sponsor.php And here is a great forum that shows you different kits based on themes (some posted kits may no longer be around since that thread has been around forever and kits are sometimes retired) http://www.mousescrappers.com/forums...lay.php?f=9608 And lastly, my biggest learning experience when I joined was to dig in the gallery. When I saw something I liked, I looked at the credits and then went and searched for the kit that was used I hope you find some inspiration and help! If you have any additional questions, let us know! |

oh, and when I was new I ONLY worked with templates. I couldn't make anything look good if I didn't. Now that I've been doing this for years, I can do a pretty mean non template page, but I still prefer to start with a template and delete things I don't want/add things I do.
clip art I get from google images then I often have to extract it from its background in my program. |
