Hi everyone, I am so loving all of the LOs!! They've given me great inspiration. Here's my LO, it's from my God-daughter's first trip to Disneyland. I was inspired by the circle of the pin as well as the wave (title).
Thanks Britt for the great pp!!! Credits Britt-ish Designs: Fish Are Friends and More Fish Friends |

I went with "First Trip" , buttons (the circles) and the "confetti"/"pixie dust" for this one. It uses the Neon kit available from Digital Scrapbook Artist software's website at Serif.com and/or Daisytrail.com (not sure if it was a kit I purchased or was a download from the forum- sorry) and a freebie kit "Mouse Madness" by Nikki Scott at Elemental Scraps (which I have had awhile and found via another messageboard). I really like the Digital Scrapbook Artist software - much shorter learning curve than Photoshop Elements. Anyhow.... the girls had lots of fun - both planning before the trip and exploring the parks while there. We plan on doing it again in 2011 for our son's HS graduation. Hoping to stay in SSR Treehouses for that trip- gotta love DVC points! Thanks Britt for hosting this challenge - love those hats! |

Meeting Pooh for the First Time
Here's my answer to Britt's fabulous challenge - was inspired by the circular button and the "first" theme. Template by Connie Prince, alpha by Amanda Heimann, and all else by Britt! Thanks, Britt!

And please please please pretty please make sure to post your LOs in the appropriate venue threads here at MouseScrappers. That's one of the requirements for the challenges. One of the main reasons MouseScrappers was started was to collect our LOs into these awesome threads so that when you're getting ready to scrap or having scrappers block in the middle of scrapping, say, an Epcot Spaceship Earth LO, you can just go click on the Spaceship Earth thread and see lots of LOs that others have scrapped to help you get inspired. |

My "What will you Celebrate?" Special Day
I was inspired by Britt to scrap one of the days I spent celebrating at Disneyland this year, my mom's birthday. The colors were inspired by the buttons we wore that day, which you can see in the layout - blue "Happy Birthday" button for mom and green "I'm Celebrating" buttons for the rest of us.
I liked MelissaD's idea of the large circle with the wave overlay across the bottom of the page, so I used a similar layout for my page. Great challenge, thanks!! Credits: Mickey Christmas, Mouse in the House, Miss Kitty and Happiest Kit on Earth by Britt-ish Designs; Disney Park Add-On by My 4 Princesses Designs; Monthly Memories by BellaGypsy and Jennifer Barrette; fonts are Waltograph and Courier New. (I think I posted in all the correct places! I hope so!!) Last edited by reboscraps; 01-19-2010 at 11:00 PM. Reason: fix typos |
