****HERE for Speed Scrap #208****
Almost time for Saturday's last Speed Scrap! Come back at 9pm ET. We'll be chatting in the chatroom, but I'll also be posting the instructions here.
Here's a reminder of the rules for the Speed Scrap: -I'll be posting 7 instructions, once every 10 minutes, over the course of the hour -Upload your layout to the Speed Scrap #208 Gallery -Post your layout in the appropriate thread on the forum. For example, if your layout is about Seven Dwarfs Mine Train, you would go to Magic Kingdom > Fantasyland > Seven Dwarfs Mine Train and post your layout in that thread. If you have a Character meet & greet layout, please post it in the appropriate thread in the Character Encounters section. -Come back to this thread and post your layout and link to the thread where you posted in the forum. Both must be completed for you to receive the PP! -Please do not use pre-made elements such as quick pages, borders, titles, clusters, page starters -Don't forget to add the proper credits to your layout (indicate kit name, designer, font name, etc). I will be checking to make sure your credits have been posted by the deadline. -All layouts must be Disney related (or the parks in the surrounding area) If you join late don’t worry, you can still play as long as you follow the instructions and upload your layout before the deadline (which I promise will be generous). Here's the PP you're playing for! See you in a half hour!

I'm addicted to rundisney races (21 and counting!), and since we're in the middle of a different kind of marathon, the Speed Scrap instructions are going to be rundisney themed!
1. A half marathon is 13.1 miles, so I want to see an odd number of pictures. No minimum or maximum, just as long as it's an odd number. 2. Doing a half marathon, or any rundisney race, is a BIG deal, so I want to see something large. It could be a picture, title, element, it's up to you (but it can't be the background paper ). I'm thinking 1/4 of the page, but like everything in a speed scrap, it's open to interpretation. 3. Rundisney does such a great job with theming the races, course, and medals, so I want to see a themed element to your layout. For example, if you're doing a layout about Snow White, you could use any princess type element, an apple, etc. If all else fails, use a Mickey head. 4. I always dress up for the races, and most of my costumes include a sparkle skirt. So use something with glitter or rhinestones. 5. Most of the medals are circle shaped, so I want to see something circular on the layout. Small, big, it doesn't matter. A mickey head counts too. 6. I never want to take that medal off! So attach something to the page with tape, a staple, a button, etc 7. Normally I'd require jouraling, but I know I'm exhausted after a long race, so with the marathon, I'm giving you a break. Add any finishing touches: Journal (if you want!), date (if you want!), rock your shadows, and upload that layout! You have until 11 am ET Sunday morning to finish your LO! Here's mine!

Here is my layout:
1. A half marathon is 13.1 miles, so I want to see an odd number of pictures. No minimum or maximum, just as long as it's an odd number - CHECKED, used 1 photo. 2. Doing a half marathon, or any rundisney race, is a BIG deal, so I want to see something large. It could be a picture, title, element, it's up to you (but it can't be the background paper ). I'm thinking 1/4 of the page, but like everything in a speed scrap, it's open to interpretation - CHECKED, used LARGE photo. 3. Rundisney does such a great job with theming the races, course, and medals, so I want to see a themed element to your layout. For example, if you're doing a layout about Snow White, you could use any princess type element, an apple, etc. If all else fails, use a Mickey head - CHECKED - used a Mickey head. 4. I always dress up for the races, and most of my costumes include a sparkle skirt. So use something with glitter or rhinestones - CHECKED - used a glittered star. 5. Most of the medals are circle shaped, so I want to see something circular on the layout. Small, big, it doesn't matter. A mickey head counts too - CHECKED - used 2 yellow (round) buttoms). 6. I never want to take that medal off! So attach something to the page with tape, a staple, a button, etc - CHECKED - stapled the date tag to the page. 7. Normally I'd require jouraling, but I know I'm exhausted after a long race, so with the marathon, I'm giving you a break. Add any finishing touches: Journal (if you want!), date (if you want!), rock your shadows, and upload that layout! - CHECKED - dated and shadowed the layout.
