>>>>HERE for SS #228, 8am PT Saturday <<<<
Welcome to my speed scrap!
Remember we will be in the chat room (Very very top right corner of this page, in the line of link icons that starts with a paintbrush - click on the blue chat bubble!) but if you can't make the chat or aren't in the mood for chatting, you can still play along! There will be 7 instructions that I will be posting here and in the chat room as well. Everyone who posts a page by midnight PT tonight will be entered to win a GC to a scrap store! Please let me know here or in the chat if you have any questions! **Make sure you link your page here, and in the appropriate forum thread. Only pages linked here in this thread will be considered for the prize, so don't just plop in the gallery and run!** HERE WE GO! 1. Your page will be ... monochromatic! Pick a color that goes with your page and you will be using pretty much just that color and shades of it. I chose purple so I have some deep purple, lavender, bright purple. Choose any color you like but use only shades of that color 2. Add a neutral or two. Feel free to add some beige, grey, white, black, brown, or a couple of those. Make sure they stay an accent though! 3. add something metallic to make your page pop. Silver, gold, or bronze. Try to make it an actual metallic. If you don't have something that will work, gold or silver glitter. 4. Add something natural - flowers, leaves, a critter... at least one of something you'd find in nature 5. Make a title with 2 (or more) words but use at least 2 different fonts or alphas or a mix 6. Add a hidden mickey 7 add something with some texture - a string, a ribbon, some lace, stitching. just add a little texture in there somewhere Last edited by tukogirl; 08-12-2017 at 09:01 AM. |
