Thanks, Ana. This is the first IE report I've gotten. I'm not familiar with the IE error. Can you email me a screen shot or send me some additional details? What happens? I know with Chrome it shows a red warning page.

I was getting a pop up from Norton for a while when I visited the page on IE, but that hasn't happened in a while.

How are you all getting to MS site when you get the warning screen?

- are you clicking on a link from email?

- are you typing in the address field in the browser? If so, is your browser autofilling the address? if so, can you try typing it in manually (being sure to type 'http://www.mousescrappers.com') - do you still encounter the error?

- another way?

I got the warning in all the scenarios you presented:

clicking on a shortcut in crome
clicking on an email link'
straight typing the address

I got it this morning after using a bookmark that I have used over and over. It went away after I cleared my cookies though. So far it hasn't come back. I got this warning on another scrap site the other day too... I wonder if someone is trying to target scrap sites?

I use Chrome.

Thanks girls. I spent the entire day yesterday trying to figure this out. I banned about 40 users who didn't seen to be real, and I made it so users with 0 posts cannot add a signature. I'm sure I will get some complaints about that but I'm hoping it will prevent some of these 'bots' from adding spam links to their signatures. I came across a lot of links (in signatures and bio fields) but none had any of the extensions you girls have been seeing. So I'm still baffled.

I checked some tables in the database and didnt find anything unusual. I also checked some reporting sites similar to Google and they all give MS a clean record

Next time someone sees it, please try this:
- hit the back button
- in the address field VERY CAREFULLY type http://www.MouseScrappers.com (don't let it autofill/prepopulate for you)
- does it still lead you to the red screen?

I was the same as Heather, getting a pop up from Norton, but havent had in a while

Yes

I was on the board fine, and then opened the main forum page again, and got the red screen. So I tried this, but it still happened. I just cleared the cache and fine so far
