Weekly Challenge #56 {Oct 13-19}

Happy Wednesday Mousescrappers!!

Welcome to this weeks challenge! It's my 1st time hosting... so please bear with me if there are any bumps along the way!
When I was trying to come up with an idea for this week's challenge... I was thinking hey... my BIRTHDAY falls during the challenge....I should do something BIRTHDAY themed!! So, I decided to MIX things up a bit this week and try a SCRAP MIX challenge I've done this type of challenge in other forums, and I think its not only challenging, but a fabulous way to step out of the box. I hope you do too!

HERE ARE THE RULES!

* Create a layout using your personal scrap mix*
* Determine what to use from each of the 4 categories by using the LAST digit in your birth day, month, and year.... as well as the last digit in your age (for example, my age is 36... so I used #6 under Theme-Age Category)*
* If it's in your mix you HAVE to use it.... but feel free to add anything extra to your layout that you want!*
* For the 'photo' category... you only need to make 1 photo blended,black and white, sepia, etc.... not all of them.... unless you want to!*
* all layouts need to be Disney related*
* Upload your LO to the gallery, this thread, and the appropriate forum thread*
* Put a link to your gallery LO (so we can leave you love!) and your forum thread in this thread too!*
* When posting your layout in the challenge thread.... be sure to list what your mix is (see my example below)*

Clear as mud??? If you have any questions... send me a PM, or post it in thIS thread. It's not hard once ya wrap your brain around the idea lol!



To get this started.... Here is MY Mix and LO!
Papers- #0 paper stack
Elements- #9 butterfly or insect
Theme- #6 transportation
Photo- #3 blend a photo

This is a really great idea - I have never done something like this! It is going to take some think, think, thinking - I do not have any trip planing photos. We have a trip coming up so I may have to take some just for the challenge! Then I get to figure out what to extract?

At the risk of sounding foolish, what exactly do you mean by paper stack? The rest of mine, I understand, but not sure about that one.

This is a fun challenge. It is definitely gonna make me think. and I love that!

This sounds like a really fun challenge. Definitely going to have to put my thinking cap on considering I rarely ever do one of my requirements. Happy Birthday and thank you for a great PP.
