Hey everybody are you ready to get started? It’s been a crazy ride so far this weekend!
Since it’s so crazy you have until Saturday at Midnight EST to complete your layout and post in the appropriate threads! Stay tuned we’ll be starting real soon!!

There will be 7 instructions in total.
The first instruction will be posted on the hour.
The second instruction is given at ten past.
Third instruction is given at twenty past.
Fourth instruction is given at half past.
Fifth instruction is given at twenty to.
Sixth instruction is given at ten to.
The final instruction is given at the close of the hour.

Since Valentines is right around the corner I thought for all those chatting or on this thread during the chat I’d offer an additional little freebie. It’s clipart that I extracted. I’m not very good at creating things yet but I can extract. LOL!

I HAVE ALWAYS LOVED SUSAN LUCKIE’S (SUSAN0326) LAYOUTS OF HER CHILDREN THROUGH THE YEARS AS THEY HAVE CHANGED AND GROWN SOMETIMES TAKING A PHOTO IN THE EXACT SAME SPOT EACH YEAR. HER LAYOUTS ARE MY INSPIRATION FOR MY SPEED SCRAP.

Step 1) YOUR LAYOUT MUST BE A THEN AND NOW OR THOUGH THE YEARS THEME. AT LEAST 4 YEARS DIFFERENCE BETWEEN HOW YOUR FAMILY HAS CHANGED, HOW THE PARKS HAVE CHANGED OR AT LEAST 4 YEARS OF THROUGH THE YEARS, ETC

Step 2) SELECT YOUR PHOTOS. YOUR PHOTOS MUST BE EVEN NUMBERS. YOU HAVE TO HAVE AN EVEN NUMBER OF PHOTOS TO COMPARE OR SEE A DIFFERENCE THROUGH THE YEARS.

Step 3) PICK YOUR PAPERS. STAYING WITH EVEN NUMBERS YOU NEED TO PICK AT LEAST 4 PAPERS OF YOUR CHOICE! NO PRE-MADE PAPER STACKS, PAGE STARTERS, OR WORD ARTS.

Step 4) FINALLY YOU MUST ADD A TITLE. YOUR TITLE MUST HAVE THE WORDS “THEN” AND “NOW” OR ‘THROUGH THE YEARS” IN THE TITLE. IT CAN BE A WORDART TEMPLATE JUST NOT ALREADY PREMADE.

Step 5) LET’S START CLUSTERING. I’VE BEEN WORKING WITH CLUSTERS LATELY SO I WANT TO SEE SOME CLUSTERS! YOU MUST HAVE AT LEAST 4 CLUSTERS WITH A MINIMUM OF 4 ELEMENTS. YOU CAN USE THE SAME ELEMENTS FOR EACH CLUSTER BUT IT CAN NOT BE ARRANGED THE SAME.

Step 6) IT’S ALL ABOUT THEN AND NOW SO DON’T FORGET TO ADD YOUR DATES SOMEWHERE IN YOUR LAYOUT BESIDES IN ANY JOUNRALING.

Step 7) FINALLY DON’T FORGET THE ALL IMPORTANT HIDDEN MICKEY SOMEWHERE IN YOUR LAYOUT, ADD JOURNALING OR ANYTHING ELSE FOR FINISHING TOUCHES.

Alright you are all done! Now finish up your page and post it in the Speed Scrap #161 Gallery and then post in the appropriate thread(s) in the forum.

Then come back and make your post in this thread. Your post must include:

1) your LO

2) a link that will take me to your LO in the Speed Scrap #161 Gallery

3) a link that will take me to your LO in the relevant thread you also posted in
