yikes. I thought this was the hardest one! And spent the most time on it. But it was good to challenge myself. Just not sure how much I like my bubbles.
Technique Challenge: 1. techniques learned today: creating bubbles (wow! time consuming. LOL). Might have to just save as content. And, I cut my photo which I don't really do much of 3. Use elements from at least 2 different kits and repurpose (if a frame use for a different purpose or change it up) or add a style to it. You could even try brushes or different actions for this step. Have fun! **Kellybells Kiss the Girl & Keep on Swimming**...my repurposing, I covered some things I didn't want from the page I had and used different content in place of it. not sure if this counts as repurposing. 4. WORK A LITTLE MORE ON YOUR TECHNIQUE. **I just realized my one word title was a one piece word art. oops. oh well. LOL** also left here: http://www.mousescrappers.com/forums...6531#post96531 |

First Speed Scrap I've been able to do. Hope I remember how to post everything in the right place and link images correctly. It's been a LONG time since I've posted anything here (moving, house remodel...).
Thanks for the great Speed Scrap! Forum post here

Thanks for the wonderful links. I can't wait to try the globe. I did do the reflection. I had to get a second tut before I was able to get what I did. Took forever for me to find the gradient tool. I was on gradient maps. Then I couldn't set the tool to get the results in the tut. Oh well. Will play more when there is no time pressure. One more hour and I still have to get this mornings LO done. I repurposed the frame into what I am calling brackets. I used the flower as a letter. Truly do love learning new things. Thanks for the challenge and prize. It's now 4 and I was able to leave love for about 6 people so far. The techniques are amazing.

http://www.mousescrappers.com/forums...ed=1#post96541 The new thing I tried was using a really BIG photo with other photos on top. I have only used a huge photo once before for Britt's speed scrap. I wanted to get brave and but stuff on top of my photo. It was hard to do this but I had a great time doing it! Lisa, thanks so much for an awesome speed scrap, and thanks to Kelly for the gorgeous prize! |

Thanks for hosting this challenge. Fun to do something you normally don't but had wanted to do... Thanks for the pp!
I used the reflection-technique. I recolored the ribbon and the flowers (both were white, now a hint of pinkish). This is what I made: The minute I thought about 'refelction' Mulan's song came to my mind! Also posted here: http://www.mousescrappers.com/forums...6555#post96555

WOW..Lisa you know how to challenge!!! YEAH!! But my head hurts now but in a good way...
Here is my layout Also posted here... http://www.mousescrappers.com/forums...6564#post96564 I used the mixed edges technique using two papers each were from a different kit as well.. http://www.chelles-creations.com/201...l-mixed-edges/ I also attempted to play with the brushes which I NEVER do to try and soften the edges. That is still a work in progress!
