Scraplift Challenge #125 (August 15 – 29)
I often find myself looking back at my own layouts and having a few that stand out as ones I am really proud of. I hope to repeat or build on the things that make it my favorite. For this challenge I want you to Scraplift a layout of your own. Go through your gallery and find a layout that you want to build on or repeat.
Here is a layout I am really proud of. I don’t know if it’s the photo, the mask or the layering of all the different items. I have been wanting to repeat this look and feel with a new layout. Here is my Scraplift: Now here is what you will be scrapping for. My whole family really enjoyed the latest installment from Marvel and Disney. These items coordinate with the Mad for the Mouse kit Marvel Heros. As a reminder here are the rules. Choose anything about the LO that you like (the colors, the layout, the theme, the shape of the journaling, etc.) and scrap away. Here are the rules for the scraplift: 1) Your LO must be Disney related (or nearby theme park) 2) Upload your LO to the Scraplift Challenge Gallery and post it in this thread. 3) Post your LO in the appropriate thread in the forums and put that link in your post here 4) Leave love for your fellow participants because we all love comments on our LOs The definition of a scraplift is to use a layout as inspiration for your own LO. I can’t wait to see what everyone creates

Thanks for the great challenge! Thank you Michelle for another fabulous PP!
This is the page I lifted: I love the white border on the photo and having it central on the page but wanted to try a variation on it. Here is the page I created: Also posted in the Spaceship Earth forum. |

Flying with Dumbo
This is the page I chose to SL. I don’t have many Disney pages so I am a little limited. I did like how this one gave me the feeling of flying. I hope it’s because I have several photos following each other to make it feel like its swirling. I also liked the Big WA describing what is happening in the scene. I hope the SL copy does this justice.
The Chosen One: The photos are of my Grandchildren plus a friend riding Dumbo. Does it feel like your flying~Enjoy. Also upload in Dumbo LO area: http://www.mousescrappers.com/forums...643#post149643 |

I seriously want that pp - GOTTA get something done tonight! LOL. Going to find my page today and that way I have a head start.
I'm going to choose one of these to lift - they were both made during speed scraps, which I sometimes find myself wanting more on them. And, I chose this one I wasn't a fan of how I had to cut the picture (I know it looks great sometimes, but I just couldn't get it right. And when I did the page I kept thinking my kit was light - turned out I hadn't moved all the elements from my file to SBC. So, I've done that and voila! My new page and here http://www.mousescrappers.com/forums...670#post149670 Last edited by tinkerbell1112; 08-28-2014 at 07:02 PM. |
