Does anyone know usually how long you have to post your layout? I have a funeral to go to on Saturday but would like to participate later and get my mind busy with other thoughts.

FOUND THE ANSWER: You will have 4 hours from the start of the speed scrap to finish all 7 directions, post to the gallery, link to the appropriate forum area and then link to the speed scrap thread.

Can someone tell me how a Speed Scrap works if I'm in Australia? Do we have to complete all the instructions within a certain time frame? I'm keen to give some of them a go, working around dance teaching, sleeping and children. I'm not sure how many of the challeges will be possible to complete.

thank you! I thought for goodie bag I needed to be done in that
same time frame!

I am hoping that you will be super kind and give us some extra time to complete as a busy mum of two I am do not fancy waiting up til 2.30am to get the instructions or getting up so that I can finish the layout by 6am, especially on Monday morning.

Heather,

The ending time to be eligible for the goodies bags is Monday, March 23rd at noon, EDT time.

Remember there are three levels this year... 5K, 10K and the full 15.

Debbie,

Actually 4 hours is the "standard" time we do at MouseScrappers, but the amount of time allowed is up to the individual Hostess. She will let you know exactly when the page is due to receive the SS prize. It will be posted with her instructions.

Keep in mind that if you page isn't completed in the allotted time frame, it still counts towards the goodie bags.... so you will need to make the page if you are trying for the full goodie bag.

Welcome! Glad you joined us! Here is a good starting point to explain Speed Scraps - http://www.mousescrappers.com/forums...ead.php?t=4848

Basically you are given 7 specific instructions and have a certain time period to get your page completed, posted in the gallery and posted in that Speed Scrap forum. If you meet the requirements and the time clock, then you are eligible to receive that specific Speed Scrap prize.

During the marathon there is a little twist. We also have goodie bags for those who complete 5 Speed Scraps, an added bag for 10 SS and the full enchilada for all 15. If you are trying for the full bags, then you will need to complete all the Speed Scrap challenges. These prizes are separate from the SS Prize. You could miss the deadline for the specific SS prize, but still make a page for the goodie bags.

What is the issue exactly? Are you getting errors? Can you copy them and post them here?

Make sure you are logged into the gallery (it's a seperate login than the forums). Also, make sure your layout isn't too large. I resize my layouts to 600x600 and label it "smaller" (Making sure I keep the original at regular size). Hope that helps!
