Thanks Melinda, hosts, donors & participants - Winter Marathon 2014

I just wanted to thank Melinda for once again organizing our most popular event of the year. She does a lot of work behind the scenes all so our community will have a weekend of fun and friendship. As the site owner, I cannot express my gratitude enough for taking on this endeavor again.

I'd also like to thank the hosts of all the events. I know it can be a LOT of work preparing a prize (or for coordinating one) and I appreciate your time. I know the community loves the prizes! I likewise respect that you leave kind comments for each of the participants of your challenge. I know it takes a while to do (especially for Melinda, Kelly and Michelle who hosted two events each).

To all the designers who donated to the goody bags, thank you! I hear you've provided some wonderful products and coupons, and I know the people who receive them feel like it is Christmas!

Thanks everyone for playing along! I hope you had fun and got some pages done... Despite having to push through the exhaustion. You should feel proud of yourselves! It was really nice seeing new members and reconnecting with seasoned veterans. Please don't go too far away... We have brainstormed some activities for our anniversary (we're turning 5!), as well as some new blog topics and a mini-marathon this summer.

I'm always looking forward to a Marathon weekend. And I know it's a lot of work to get it all done, make PP's and for all of us, getting through it. So we can only be grateful for those who take the time to put this all together.

Getting so many pages done in such a short amount of time is stressful, so next year, I plan to go away to a little cabin in the woods ( which must have internet access) and scrapbook away without my family staring at me wondering if I am ever going to get off the computer.

Thank you so, so much to Carol, Melinda, and all the hostesses and designers who made this happen! All of the speed scraps were so well thought out and challenging. I'm so sorry I couldn't make it to any of the chats - I remember last year that they were half the fun! This weekend was incredible and everyone involved has been just fabulous. Now off to spend the next week or so leaving love and seeing what everyone else has done!

Thanks to all: Melinda for organisation, Carol for running this magical place (second best after Disney itself of course), hosts, designers, participants, chatters and anybody else for just being around here. All toghether we made this a fun weekend. I am already looking forward to next year's. And I can't wait to see what changes you are planning, and also to the anniversary celebrations!
