Weekly Challenge #416 - May 27th to June 11th
Hi Everyone!
Melidy Designs has a new upcoming kit release on June 5th which will be a charity kit themed around Superheros! Because of this I thought it would be great to do a Weekly Challenge that was Superhero themed! When you look online for what it means to be a Superhero you get the following: "A Superhero is a person who does heroic deeds and has the ability to do them in a way that a normal person couldn't. So in order to be a Superhero, you need a power that is more exceptional than any power a normal human being could possess, and you need to use that power to accomplish good deeds" - Oxford University Press Because of this, I want you to think outside the box for what a Superhero can be. Pages of Meet & Greets are fine, but some of us either don't have pictures with Superhero Characters, don't care to have pictures with Superhero Characters, or you have 6 year old family members who are obsessed with all things Disney Princess, Liv & Maddie, and the Descendants (my family falls under the last two categories). But we do have family members in the medical profession, family members who are first responders, and family members and friends battling rare diseases. In my opinion, they are all Superheros. And here is my Page: Also posted the page within the Disney at Home thread. The Rules: 1. The page must be Superhero themed. It can be a character meet & greet or a child in the halloween costume but it can also be a family member who is a first responder, a loved one battling a rare disease, a family member within the medical community, etc. 2. The page must be Disney related or from nearby theme parks. 3. Layouts should be uploaded to the MouseScrappers Gallery in the Weekly Challenge category 4. Layouts should be posted in two places: in the challenge thread, and in the appropriate forum. 5. Be a Superhero and please leave love for others. And remember:Please don't use a quick page to fulfill the challenges -that really isn't fair to everyone who created their own page to receive the prize, and makes light of the prize providers work. For everyone who participates, Melissa of Melidy Designs has been nice enough to donate a participation prize that coordinates with the upcoming release. Cannot wait to see what everyone creates!
