Weekly Challenge #189 (06-12-13 till 06-18-13)
Welcome to this week's challenge. Since I completely forgot that I should host this challenge, I decided to ask my daughter what kind of challenge she would like to see!
So her it is, her challenge, all about her favorite character.... STITCH!! Here are your instructions: S: something summer-ish, could be anything. (Well, maybe not Christmas, unless you've celebrated that event in Hong Kong). T: use a template. I: 'I love'..., scrap it! T: add at least 10 things (papers, elements, photos, your choice), more is allowed. Don't forget about your shadows, journaling (if needed), etc. C: choose 1 color as your main color, use whatever you need more. H: a big hooray, add something that says/shouts 'hooray' to you. Als remember these general rules: 1. Layout should be uploaded to the MouseScrappers Gallery in the Weekly Challenge category. 2. Your layout needs to be posted in the appropriate venue/attractions thread in the forum. 3. Come back to this thread and leave a link to your LO in the gallery AND a link to where you posted your LO in the venue/attractions thread by midnight on June 18th. Of course you aren't playing for nothing. I made this summer, wet, splash, aqua alpha for you (shadows included). And since this is my daughter's challenge, I'll let her choose one to win a new kit made by me (coming on Saturday 06-22-2013, no preview yet).

Use your creative mind for the 'hooray'-part (so it could be word(art), but it also can be an element that says hooray to you (like banner, balloon, etc.)

Oh, and for the ten things: mix and match is allowed!
You can swap it for ten lines of journaling!

S: something summer-ish, could be anything. (Well, maybe not Christmas, unless you've celebrated that event in Hong Kong). We visited in June, 2011, about two weeks after school was out.
T: use a template. - Yes. One, I found here. I: 'I love'..., scrap it! - I love seeing my granddaughters so enthralled with the princesses. T: add at least 10 things (papers, elements, photos, your choice), more is allowed. Don't forget about your shadows, journaling (if needed), etc. More than 10 C: choose 1 color as your main color, use whatever you need more. I primarily used blue H: a big hooray, add something that says/shouts 'hooray' to you. My big hooray was their excitement and how much they look like Cinderella (same hair color and same beautiful blue eyes). |
