Open ended challenge #1
Welcome aboard the all new MouseScrappers.com Disney Layout Challenge. These challenges are meant to stimulate your creativity and encourage you to complete your Disney layouts. We’ll start off with an easy one…
Challenge #1: Use a Mickey shape in your layout. Add a Mickey by using pre-made journaling cards, stickers, punches, or create your own three-circled icon with embellishments like buttons, flowers, circle punches, etc. Example: Tree of Life (post #1), Main Street USA (3rd post) Guidelines: 1) Create as many layouts as you’d like that fit the challenge. 2) Post layouts on the appropriate challenge thread. 3) Challenges do not expire. Join a challenge at any time, even after new challenges are posted. 4) A new challenge will begin every two weeks on Saturdays, beginning Sat. 8/1/09. Happy Scrapping! If you have any comments or suggestions, send a PM to intenseblue98.

Re: First-ever MouseScrappers.com Challenge
Thanks so much for starting this... I think this is a wonderful idea!
I'd like to suggest, however, that everyone post their layouts directly in this forum (in the respective challenge thread, that is). This way, it will be easy for viewers to see the layouts, and they won't have to scroll down to find the appropriate post. My preference would be for everyone to post the same layout in two places, but if that is too cumbersome we can move the posts to the appropriate forums after the challenge. It may be an extra step, but I think making it easier to view is worth the extra effort. Thanks so much for starting the first challenge! Carol

Re: First-ever MouseScrappers.com Challenge
Here's mine! I "cut" a seashell into a Mickey shape (though it's a little hard to see as the Mickey is opaque).

Oh wow Carol! Was it tricky to cut the shape? Love those pics!

Re: First-ever MouseScrappers.com Challenge
I'm kind of out of practice but here it goes. This picture was a Christmas card from a favorite aunt and uncle. The snowflake was supposed to be an embellishment on the first page but ended up too big, oops two page layout.
