Signature Questions (how to make? how to get rid of white background?)
I notice really cute creative Signatures with really nice alpha's. My question is, does anyone have a template or instructions of how to do that?
Thank you for the |

Love the new siggie Charlene!!
That's how I make mine too I just make a little 'title' like i do for my scrapbook pages... but i save it at 72dpi (rather than 300) as a png file... then upload to smugmug (or photobucket) then add it as an image. Easy Peasy! |

Since the subject of signatures has come up, I think it is another good opportunity to ask people to read the signature guidelines here: http://mousescrappers.com/forums/ann...php?f=9625&a=4
Also, I just came across a recommendation of a vBulletin Team Member, suggesting that image sizes in signatures should not exceed 100kb. There is nothing that will prevent you from using a larger file size, however it does increase page loading time, especially if the image is hosted on other sites. Just please keep this in mind when you create your images. Thanks

Ok I tried to upload a sig pic and the background was was white. How do I make it transparent or match the forum background. It is a .png file with a transparent background. Thanks for any help.

I use SBC+ and I saved my name as a selection and it seems to work.

Hmm... I use photoshop elements and theoretically if I load a .png file it should have a transparent background but mine is showing up white. Anyone else have any advice.
