Scraplift Challenge #95 - June 3 - 15
Welcome to the Scraplift Challenge this week!
While searching for some inspiration for my Club Cool page I ran into this layout by hobbes130. I think there are so many great inspiration points here - the color, the circles, the swirls, the title work and so many other great things! Here is my page inspired by Emma's page: At the end of the challenge my hubby will pick his favorite page that will will a $5 gift certificate to the scrap store of their choice! Can't wait to see how Emma's page inspires you!! |

LOVE that inspiration page! What I want to learn is how she made the holes in the top paper!

cool spot
I was totally inspired by the cutouts, the colours and the theme. So inspired by the page cutouts I took a photoshop tutorial this afternoon to learn how to do it. Thanks so much for the challenge and inspiration!

An super easy way to get a similar effect is to use the inside shadow instead of drop shadow. The element will LOOK like it's on the bottom but in the layers it will be on the top.

I have PSE 9 and couldn't find an inside shadow. Did figure out how to do it with the elliptical marquee too, thanks to a little help from robills.

the colours, stars, stripes and cut-outs inspired me. It made me think of the kit I used that i think works so well for Duffy. the little bubbles made me think bubble wrap too so i used a bubble wrap brush on my BG. Thanks for the inspiration!
