Here for Speed Scrap #204
Hello and Goodmorning!
Hope you are refreshed for a new day full of scrapping fun! Not sure if I'll make it to the chatroom, but you'll find Jlynn overthere anyway (I'm suffering a migraine, yay!! Always comes at moments you can't use it, if there are moments you could use one anyway...). Maybe I just drop in for a few moments. Anyway, here are the rules (in case you didn't know them by now): * Please post your completed LO's in this thread, in the speed scrap #204 gallery and in the appropriate sub-topic forum. * Make sure you post the sub-forum link here too. * Please do not use pre-made elements such as quick pages, borders, titles, clusters, page starters. * Don't forget to add the proper credits to your layout (indicate kit name, designer, font name, etc) * All layouts must be Disney related (or the parks in the surrounding area). There will be 7 instructions in total, one every 10 minutes, the first one given at 8am EDT. If you join late don’t worry, you can still play as long as you follow the instructions and upload your layout before the deadline. The deadline to get the participation prize is tonight, Saturday, April 2nd, at 11:59 pm EDT (that makes 6am tomorrow morning for me, so maye you have a few more hours, lol). You can Always play for the goodie bag (deadline on Monday). This is the prize you will be playing for: Please note: only if your page is posted in this thread as well, you'll get the prize!

Saving for instructions and own layout!
1. Pick 1 paper as your background. 2. Pick only 1 photo. Make sure it's page wide or high. 3. Pick 5 other papers and create small paperstrips to go along the photo. I made my strips .75" by 12". 4. Create a cluster on top of your paperstrips, use at least 1 flower and 1 leaf/foliage (more is allowed of course). 5. This might be the hardest part of the speed scrap... Add at least 1 piece of ribbon/string/bow. Make sure it has a shadow which you get on a new layer. Then use the warp function (in PS edit --> transform --> warp) and make it look like the ends of your riboon/string are coming up. 6. Add stitches (I have them on my photo and on a few paperstrips), at least 1 themed element, a sparkle/glitter/pixie dust (something magical) and a tag (or a small piece of paper). 7. Add your shadows. On you tag or piece of paper you can add the date and maybe a few words about the photo. My onw layout: Also posted here: http://www.mousescrappers.com/forums...459#post163459

Since for some of you it's pretty early, I want this speed scrap to be easy!

Here is my layout:
1. Pick 1 paper as your background - CHECKED (red solid background). 2. Pick only 1 photo. Make sure it's page wide or high - CHECKED. 3. Pick 5 other papers and create small paperstrips to go along the photo. I made my strips .75" by 12" - CHECKED. 4. Create a cluster on top of your paperstrips, use at least 1 flower and 1 leaf/foliage (more is allowed of course) - CHECKED. 5. This might be the hardest part of the speed scrap... Add at least 1 piece of ribbon/string/bow. Make sure it has a shadow which you get on a new layer. Then use the warp function (in PS edit --> transform --> warp) and make it look like the ends of your riboon/string are coming up - CHECKED - shadowed the string. 6. Add stitches (I have them on my photo and on a few paperstrips), at least 1 themed element, a sparkle/glitter/pixie dust (something magical) and a tag (or a small piece of paper) - CHECKED - stitches on the top edge of the layout, reindeer is the themed element, sparkly silver snowflake in the flower cluster and date tag. 7. Add your shadows. On you tag or piece of paper you can add the date and maybe a few words about the photo - CHECKED.
