Totally didn't mean to get this up so late! I got caught up in holiday prep stuff. Speaking of holidays, that's the theme for this week's two part challenge: holiday kits. Your challenge this week is to
use a holiday kit for a non-holiday page. I suppose technically you could do a holiday page, but it'd have to be with a kit from a different holiday!
And as delightful as Thanksgiving is this week for any Americans, it's followed immediately by another crazy "holiday" - Black Friday. In honor of Black Friday, the second part of the challenge is to
use something new to you. It doesn't have to be something bought just for this, nor does it necessarily need to be the holiday kit that you used - any little paper/element/template/alpha/kit/paint splatter that you've never used before counts.
I'm going to try to get my page up tomorrow night, and I'll edit this post as soon as I do. There is no participation prize this week; just the satisfaction of checking another page off the to-do list.
As always, please post your page in the Mousescrappers gallery under Weekly Challenges, and cross-post your page in the corresponding forum thread. No double dipping on challenges, and please no pre-made pages. And if you have the time, leave some love for fellow participants!
Edit: And finally after the chaos of Thanksgiving/Black Friday I have an example page! I used a Thanksgiving kit for a Hoop Dee Doo page, and the kit was new for me.
I've also posted it in the Hoop Dee Doo Revue thread
here.
