Weekly Challenge #158 (Oct 31 - Nov 6)
 

Hey y'all! For the past year I have been obsessed with Once Upon a Time (it's on ABC). For anyone not familiar with it, it's a show that follows Snow White, Prince Charming, their daughter and grandson, and the Evil Queen after the Queen curses the whole land to go to a place with no more happy endings, aka our world. Since it's owned by Disney, there are all sorts of great references to the classic Disney movies and crossovers between fairy tales. So this week's challenge will be inspired by Once Upon a Time.

1. The whole show is a mish-mash of every fairy tale known to Disney- it's pretty awesome watching Mulan, Aurora, and Snow White face off with Captain Hook. So your first instruction is to mix up several kits - at least three.

2. Since the show is still ongoing with new episodes, use something new that you've not yet before used (be it kit, element, template, technique, etc.).

3. The whole show is basically various characters' stories playing out, with and without happy endings. So tell the story that goes with your pictures - journal at least a few lines.

4. Last - Once Upon a Time has dozens of veiled Disney references (Belle's dresses are reminiscent of her movie ones! Someone gives her a library!). Hide a Mickey somewhere on your page.

Thanks for hosting, fun way to get the instructions! Haven't seen that show (maybe because it's nog on Dutch Television, but more likely because I hardly watch TV, except for News).
My hidden Mickeys might be hardly seen, they are on the flowers and are stitched. ;-)
