Weekly Challenge #392 (11/22 -11/28)
 

Totally didn't mean to get this up so late! I got caught up in holiday prep stuff. Speaking of holidays, that's the theme for this week's two part challenge: holiday kits. Your challenge this week is to use a holiday kit for a non-holiday page. I suppose technically you could do a holiday page, but it'd have to be with a kit from a different holiday!

And as delightful as Thanksgiving is this week for any Americans, it's followed immediately by another crazy "holiday" - Black Friday. In honor of Black Friday, the second part of the challenge is to use something new to you. It doesn't have to be something bought just for this, nor does it necessarily need to be the holiday kit that you used - any little paper/element/template/alpha/kit/paint splatter that you've never used before counts.

I'm going to try to get my page up tomorrow night, and I'll edit this post as soon as I do. There is no participation prize this week; just the satisfaction of checking another page off the to-do list.

Edit: And finally after the chaos of Thanksgiving/Black Friday I have an example page! I used a Thanksgiving kit for a Hoop Dee Doo page, and the kit was new for me.

I used the Creative Memories Holidazzle paper package which is new to me as well as the layout is new to me too. Thank you for this challenge!

I also used a non-holiday paper package to scrap a holiday photo. Super Heroes from Magical Scraps Galore. This layout is new to me.

So when I read this the other day, I somehow missed the "NON" part! LOL oops! Technically, this is a Haunted Mansion kit and not a Halloween kit.... hehe! I will do another one later today if I get a chance, but I figured I would post anyway, since it did inspire me to get these pages done and that is the main goal!!
