Hi MouseScrappers!
In honor of the new release coming this week, we are having a special bonus challenge. (Thanks, KayR for the idea!) Your layout should show or describe how a person(s) has done something helpful/nice/unselfish for others. - Does NOT have to be Disney related! Ideas: Volunteering in the community or at church, little ones helping out around the house, etc - Upload your layout to the Misc Challenges Gallery - Post a linked image here in this thread - Deadline: 11:59pm Pacific Thursday, 9/15 - One winner will be selected from the entries to win the new, jam-packed kit. I will announce the winner early Friday morning 9/16 I'm seeing if I can round up a PP for everyone else... stay tuned Here is a sneak peek of the kit http://www.mousescrappers.com/photos..._sneakpeek.jpg All participants will get the fireworks pack I gave away last summer. I'm sorry if any of you have it already! http://www.mousescrappers.com/photos...eworksPack.jpg |

Teacher

My husband goes above and beyond as a high school mathematics teacher. He volunteers his time to tutor students every single day at lunch and after school - his students or any other student needing help. He attends as many student events as humanly possible to show his support and school spirit. Bill has marched in graduation every year of his employment (although not required to) which is 31 years. Our son is autistic and pictured with Bill on my layout. We both worked hard to get him through high school but it was his dad that did most of the tutoring. Our son graduated with a 3.8 GPA in 2006. Bill has always had a soft spot in his heart for special needs students and is so patient working with them till they have the concepts. He did his student teaching at a school for the deal and coached a deaf basketball team. Every teacher should have the work ethic and the true love of his job that this man does! He is a tribute to his profession. Posted also here: http://www.mousescrappers.com/photos...08/Teacher.jpg |
You should all be very proud of your family and friends.... I am really enjoying reading your stories!
