Make A Wish Foundation Raffle
 

As many of you know Carol is organizing a fundraiser for the Make A wish Foundation.

It takes place in July and is called 'Course of the Force.' It is a relay - kind of like the Olympic torch relay, but instead of a torch they pass a 'lightsaber'. It starts up at Skywalker Ranch and finishes 500 miles later in San Diego (just in time for the beginning of Comic Con). Many of you know that I am a HUGE Star Wars fan, well this fundraiser is just perfect! Star Wars related and helps Make-A-Wish!

I've signed us (collective MouseScrappers community!) to raise $500, which is what we raised for Give Kids the World - though I'd love to surpass it. Will you please help me raise money for this worthy organization? Of course we have a special soft spot for the kids who wish to go to Walt Disney World or Disneyland, but that is just a small percentage of wishes that MAW grants... let's help them help well-deserving families live out their special wishes!

So here's the deal with the Raffle, Currently Jim aka Kilted Candyman is raffling off a handcrafted hunters/gentlemans knife for any $5 donation made to Make A Wish. And I wanted to sweeten the pot!

Want a Chance to win my ENTIRE store? And any prize, template, or kit I make until Dec. 30, 2013? This is your chance!!! For ever dollar donated I will will throw your name in a hat. For example, if you donate $5, I'll put you name in 5 times! If you donate $10, your name goes in 10 times, you get the picture. Also I don't want you doing double work, so anyone that qualifies for Jim's raffle, I will send him a list of names.

How to Enter:
1. Donate something to the Make A Wish Foundation
2. Forward your receipt email to msbagley@yahoo.com WITH your Mouse Scrapper username in there somewhere.
3. Cross your fingers, and feel nice warm fuzzies inside because today you made a difference in the life of a child.

This raffle will continue until July 16th, winners to be announced shortly there after!

I need to eat lunch and go visit my mom; she just had surgery to repair disks in her neck. I just threw together a flower basket for her and decided to stop in and see what I'm missing....I have so much to do and all I want to do is spend the weekend scrapping...

This is so very sweet of you to offer such a fabulous prize!! Money is tight right now, as my hubby just had surgery for mastoiditis and is off work for 6 weeks, but I WILL be back later to donate. This gave me goosebumps...the amount of generosity and kindness of this wonderful group of ladies. WAY TO GO CAROL AND MICHELLE, WAY TO GO!!

Thanks to Carol, Michelle, Jim and Mousescrappers for their generosity! My two boys, Alexander and Justin, were fortunate to receive a Wish through the Indiana chapter of Make a Wish. The boys have a rare genetic disorder. Make a Wish and Give Kids the World gave the boys an absolutely magical trip to WDW. Though the boys are now too medically fragile to travel, we have many wonderful moments to remember from our trip.
