Re: Cinderella's Castle
When my boss asked me if I wanted to make a quick trip down to Disney with her in December of this past year I was like....uh...YEAH!!! Her daughter was in the Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party Parade and she was going down to see her, so I tagged along. I had not yet had a chance to see the castle all decked out in Christmas lights. It was so beautiful! I don't think any pictures can do it justice, but I tried to capture it and I was please with some of the photos that I was able to get. Here is a layout that I did with one of the photos.
P.S. There is a hidden Mickey in there somewhere. Can you spot it? http://www.mousescrappers.com/photos...-for-we_1_.jpg |

Some photos with my boys and the castle at night. The title was a little play on words! ;-)

Journaling reads: This trip was during Disney's "Year of a Million Dreams" in honor of Disneyland's 50th anniversary. All of the Disney parks worldwide joined in the celebration. One of the best parts of the celebration was the introduction of several attractions that originated in other Disney parks and were brought in especially for this occasion. Cinderella's castle also received a "makeover" for the event with the addition of gold accents around all of the turets and a giant medallion that rotated through pictures of all of the Disney castles worldwide. The Castle lights aren't really decorations, I guess, lol, but close enough. ;) http://www.mousescrappers.com/photos...stle1_site.jpg http://www.mousescrappers.com/photos...hp_castle2.jpg http://www.mousescrappers.com/photos..._both_site.jpg http://www.mousescrappers.com/photos..._castle_cc.jpg |

Weekly Challenge #51 was a scraplift challenge. I have been wanting to use this kit and loved how hobbies130 used it....so I lifted almost item by item. Again, I loved what Emma did..so I figured why not. :)

Journal:
This was January 2010, It was one of the coldest Januaries in Florida. We were freezing all the time! It was colder in Florida than in NY! We still had a great time, seeing the castle "iced" was awesome! http://www.mousescrappers.com/photos...0/Jan_2010.jpg :credits: |
