Second Saturday - September 9th!

One reason I thought the 2nd Saturday of the month would be good is because the 1st Saturday can sneak up on us! Anyways, the 2nd Saturday is this coming Saturday!

Here is the schedule for this Saturday!

#231: 11am Pacific (2pm Eastern) - Sheryl

#232: 1pm Pacific (4pm Eastern) - Laurie

#233: 5pm Pacific (8pm Eastern) - Tammy (time to be confirmed)

I can do the second slot... #232. Just let me know where to go to do it. Is it in the slack thing again?

Thank you so much, Laurie! Yes, it would be in the Slack chat room again. Is the 11am Pacific / 2pm Eastern time good for you or would you like to move it? There is some wiggle room.

about 1:30 Mountain time would be great. That would be 12:30 pacific time I think. If you don't want to do on the half hour I can do 1pm Pacific, which I think is 2 pm my time. Let me know.

Thanks, Laurie! I think on the hour would be easier for participants... they are used to an instruction every 10 min, starting at the top of the hour :) So can we start it at 1pm Pacific? Thank you!

I'm hoping I can come to these (at least a couple!) I really want to get scrapping again! I did great during the SS Marathon...but than slacked off some. Now that the girls are back in school, I need to get busy and SCRAP! Hope to see you all Sat!

I'll be there! I'll need something to take my mind off the upcoming hurricane, with so many friends there

New to this

I have never done a speed scrap before, but I consider myself to be computer literate and a decent scrapper, is there anything I should know before it begins today???

You can scrap anything you wish, as long as it is Disney (related).
You have to follow the rules given by the host.
And you have to get your page posted before the deadline in 3 places: the speed scrap gallery, the appropriate forum thread (like if you scrap the castle, you page should go into that thread) and the speed scrap thread (including links to the gallery and the forum where you posted it). Most hosts give us much more time than the 4 hours that used to be normal...
Most important: have fun. Most of us like the speed scraps because we can hang out in the chatroom... ;) (And, if we are Lucky, we'll get a participation prize, but it's not mandatory and shouldn't be your motivation to play along. Having fun and getting some pages done, stretching your skills and such, are the main reasons for the speed scraps).
Hope this helps!
