How to Create a Shape/clipping Masks?

I am interested in creating Disney clipping Masks for personal use in my layouts. Does anyone know how to make them?

I would like to make some Mickey Shaped, Mickey Head, Animal Kingdom Tree of Life masks, castle mask etc.

Does anyone has a link to a tutorial or know how to design it?:pc:

Just yesterday I watched this photoshop elements tutorial for masks. www.photoshoproadmap.com/links/go/9154
It made it really easy. I downloaded some free brushes that have some Disney style ie. a tree, a pixie etc. from Obsidian Dawn to use to create the masks and voila! Disney masks! I am planning to make some masks as a challenge prize. Lots of luck and I hope this helps. Best Wishes, Roni

You can also make masks with shapes. I have mickey head shapes and castle shapes I've made for clipping masks. I watched the video and at the end she merges the layers, making it difficult to use as a mask (I couldn't find the next video). You want the "white" area to actually be transparent. The mask should be a solid color (the color doesn't matter for a clipping mask). If you use it as a layer mask ( I think you can only create a layer mask in Photoshop), then the color does matter, as it will be transparent.

Anyway, you can put a bunch of shapes together on a regular layer and clip it. I hope that all makes sense!
